I’ve got to admit, it’s been a long time since I saw a truly unique tactical knife.
There just aren’t that many truly “new” ideas, you know?
Then I saw the Longship tactical blade – and I was immediately intrigued.
The handy sheepsfoot blade is just under 3 inches, making this knife legal almost everywhere.
It has an integral “OAR” locking sheath, which is what really caught my attention.
It protects you from the hollow-ground, dominating edge pattern, which cuts amazingly well no matter what the job.
Then there’s the blade stock, which is an impressive eighth of an inch thick.
(It has to be, to accommodate that aggressive hollow grind.)
It also has a carabiner and some driver bits built right in, making this not just a tactical knife, but a true EDC survival tool.
You can learn more about the Longship on this page.
I think you’ll love it as much as I love mine – because this is truly a knife fit for today’s “Viking warrior.”
