I don’t like it when people tell me what I can and can not carry on my person. Airports, theme parks, and even some sporting venues have begun restricting your right to carry a multitool on their premises.
Ben Rivera, the President of Leatherman, was visiting Disneyland with his family. At some point he was accosted by park security for wearing a multi-tool on his belt. They felt that it could be used as a weapon and as such escorted Ben back to his hotel room to ensure that he left it there.
Rivera was later quoted as saying: “I knew there had to be another way to carry my tools with me that would be accepted by security,” When he returned to his Portland office he began a quest to design ” a bracelet that would have much of the usefulness of a standard multitool” but still be able to be worn anywhere, including Disneyland and through TSA checkpoints.
There is a time and place to have your preps strapped to your belt or carried on your back, but that also means exposing your precious gear to authorities who may consider it objectionable and ultimately confiscate it. We all have tools that would be useful in the field…..but our “29 In 1 Covert EDC All-Metal Bracelet “ gives you tons of gear hidden in plain sight.
